Daylilies are easy-to-grow perennial plants, and very rewarding, with blooms of all sizes and colors. You’ll find there are some to bloom in any part of the growing season.
This year, we have even more daylily varieties from which you’ll find your favorites. These include doubles and spider forms, as well as beautiful smaller and larger blooms.
We are excited to offer “Joan Hood”. This variety was registered by Richard Norris in 2004. It is semi-evergreen and is clear peach in color with bright purple eye and edge above an orange throat. Joan Hood’s very consistent blooms begin mid-season, and then rebloom also.
Daylilies are the perfect perennials for your yard, garden, or perennial bed. You’ll find a place for daylilies in your landscape situation, naturalizing or gift-giving.
Here in the Rocky Mountains of western Montana, Zone 4 / Zone 5, our on-going goal is to grow and develop for you hardy daylily varieties.

Our gardens are about 2 hours south of Glacier Park, where we often have a week of 100 degree weather in summer, and winter can get down to +10 degrees for awhile, with some years being lower. Our normal frost-free growing season is 90 days.
Ken is very enthused about his daylily hybridizing program. The seedlings have been exciting to watch; several seedling blooms look promising, and he continually looks for that “special one”.
